Well as many american's would have seen this tv series outsourced i bet there are eual number of indian's who would have done the same.Outsourced is a new tv series by NBC currently running in its first season is based on sterotyped cliches about indian's.the SitCom carries a simple plot of humiliating indian's in the world tv forum.the story line goes like this:An young american is made a manager of an outsourced american novelty company located in india,he is the protagonist who stays in india expieriences the indian culture as the Tv series production says.instead it focusses on the bad side of india with character's worth mocking in the indian character plots and the tvseries is based in mumbai i guess it is in a studio,it shows india as poor country with no proper means of transporation but autos and rickshaws. The focus still continues only on street barbers and street foods. This specific tv series has become highly insensitive and inappropriate for viewing which hurts the sentiments of indian's largely.I donot ask for revoking this show but to show the real side of india too.India is not a a country only for street foods and street barbers, whoever is reading you know that right,i though you didn't so i added an extra line to emphasise on it.On Relative note the famous indian author of the young indian masses Chetan Bhagat had written a book called two states literally a book of mockery on tamil nadu and its people, yet that went unnoticed.Chetan Bhagat is a racist in disguise.

Thank You.
Kinda disagree to ur views on chetan bhagat. I agree that he made a mockery on tamil culture..but he also mocked his own punjabi culture what with all the fat weddings, dowries, excessive preoccupation with money and food..no interest in academics etc. These are a few tenets of modern Punjabi culture which he mentioned in the book. In the end I believe that he showed how cultural barriers lost and humanity won.But yeah, Indians have difficulty in laughing at themselves..so probably he hurt a few sentiments...
