MEDIA-CAN WE TRUST YOU?

First of i would like to ask the reader a few questions,Do you trust the news you see or read?Do you ever have a second opinion to any or some news given to you?Do you think news channels,Magazines or newspapers given to you are biased to any or some individual or an organisation? Are you ready to fight for your right to not only information (RTI) but Right to correct and transparent information (RTCI)?If atleast 60% of your answers are affirmative, continue reading the post,If you have second opinions i am open to debating,If you are totally against it,read it and prove me wrong or just please don't read it.
Living in a free and a democratic country like india,Many including i feel that we are caged in the name of democracy, exposed to only partial oe lesser than partial amount of truth and blanketed completely from transparent truth.Media is the fourth pillar to any democracy and Pen is migthier than sword has never been wrong, but what if the pen is manipulated and corrupted?Yes! now in the fake democracy we indian's are living in,we are subjected to utmost cruelty of not enjoying the freedom we deserve or our father's and grandfather's fought for.

Looks like i'm drifting away from the topic,Coming back how has media gone adrift and bought shame to its name and acting as a cover up blanket to a few political parties. Many of you or atleast some must have heard about the 2G scam and involvement of media as cover up and a specific jounalist to be precise The well known Journalist working for NDTV Barkha Dutt the star of Buck Stops Here!!These individual or a organisation has helped in accomplishment of a multi-crore scam by rotten politicans of india and to top it all,it seems these tiny tots in public eyes hav worked alongside criminals(i prefer) to decide the minister's for the union cabinet and their positions. Are these people running a government or a high school council.Don't they understand the importance of people's participation? Then why do you guys go about begging for votes and bribing for votes too from people,When you change the results and craft it in your favour.
By far Indian media has shown nothing but cowardice,Acting like puppets to these powerful and notorius politicians. Now we must have all heard a popular joke atleast many in tamilnadu must have:The joke goes as such:In heaven it seems there blinks a red light when some one tells a lie.And between 7:30 to 8:30 alone it doesn't blink it just stays on.Want to know why?Because at 7:30 Jaya tv shows its news cast (Jaya TV is headed by Madam.Jayalaitha herself) and 8:00 Sun TV shows its news cast.(each lasting half an hour).(sun TV was then headed by DR.Karunanidhi family). For those who still didn't understand jaya tv makes everything of the opposition as false and cruel whilst sun tv does the same against its opposition.Yes Media in india is biased and while one news portal favours one and other does to another. Its all the handiwork of money and the self satisfaction of assumption of getting fake power.

In conclusion i would like to say Media in india is not the fourth pillar but a shameless debris of the pillar it once was.Where have the honest, courageous and true Pens of india gone? Are we to leave it like this.People will you Rise upto fight for what should be yours?Aren't you all tired of this?because i am and i know many desperate indian's who were denied justice in various forms are.

That concludes the list of all those bigshots getting shoe shots from people.

My Views on Shoe hurling:
It is a totally unnacceptable method, but we can't blame the one's who do it,they are hurt by these big shots in one way or other, directly or indirectly, but i strongly say shoes is not Your weapon and these politicians are nothing but rotting eggs and don't care, how many shoes are hurled at them.So next time try to make a more sensible and effective plan!!

My E-Mail To My Sister,Explaining My Need To Visit a Therapist.

Hello sister,
It struck me as to why you would ask me to explain my need to visit a therapist and give your opinion or i call it ur honest approval.Well it stikes me now that i need to explain myself.why i need to visit a therapist and why now of all the years.First of all,it was my naiveness of not knowing what was troubling me,why my sudden decline in interests in academics and other important things in my life.As ci came accross a specific psycological term "procrastination" My curiosity got the better of me,and i started reading to only find out,i had all the problems described in there and symptoms too.I then took the nostalgic lane to compare all my inefficiency and failures to this specific syndrome and voila! it seemed it was the major cause.Although i might  be exxagerating on my failures related this disorder, but i am pretty much sure its the major cause.I feel the urge to take this consultation with a therapist now because i understand i need help for something which is beyond my control,And i strongly beleive it will help me for the success in my future endeavours.Hope i have given a insight into what is my need to visit a therapist and hope you will understand for better this would help me.
Your brother,
Hameed Azar

Sonia Gandhi's Comment on AnnaHazare's Hunger Fast!

I am pained by Anna Hazare Ji's fast unto death. The issues he has raised are of grave public concern. There can be no two views on the urgent necessity of combating graft and corruption in public life. I believe that the laws in these matters must be effective and must deliver the desired results. I am sure that Anna Hazare Ji's views will receive the government's full attention as we move forward to fight this menace.

I appeal to Anna Ji to give up his fast.

A DAY OF BITTER PILLS-10/4/2011

The anxiety on 9/4/2011 about 10/4/2011 was very high and here is it why?
10/4/2011 may have been another sunday for most of you all,but for the students of VIT university(including me),it was a do or die to get good rooms for the following year in the university boarding. The following part will focus on what happened to me on 10/4/2011.I woke up reluctantly by morning 9 or i prefer to call i early morning, while brushing i realized my mistake of not taking passport size photos for sticking it in the forms which i call it totally unnecessary,Then it suddenly struck me no time for brushing, bathing or eating,i dressed up and ran out of campus to get the photographs.
At The Photo Studio:
Well i wasn't the only last minute lazy crook, there was long queue outside the studio and adding to my misery the climate was sultry!!not to forget scorching sun.A call then comes from the would  be new roomate warning me about the room allotment counselling starting at 11,and he needed me to complete the prerequisities right then.To my horror i behing time and broke down!!By the time the i got the photos it was 10:40 and i rushed back to my wouldbe roomates current room, well i was sweating like a punctured cactus plant.
At The Room:
It was crowded well that's what i prefer to call it as i am allergic to crowds in a small confined space. There were forms to fill and lots of other works not to forget to meet the new strangers who also would be new roomates,i am verybad at getting along with people at first. After all works were completed at the room 6 of us set out like a pack.
The Dissapointment:
We were supposed to get xeroxes of all the forms and bills we had,we walked and walkked under the brutal scorching sun,to our dissappointments all xerox shops were closed in the campus, alas!! we had to goto the library to get a copy and one out of six members had to get in.so i had to stay out with the rest five and honestly it was miserable to be out in the sun,not to blame!!
The Long Wait:
Well after all this was over,it was the first small break to the new and a bigger task,of attending the counselling,we went to the auditorium hosing the counselling and there we had to fill up another form,Forms now are my arch-enemy i hate it so much!!Itwas such that the top scorer of a specific pack was supposed to attend the counselling with all the forms of rest of the 5 members and the others had to wait,Well he got in and other mambers left except for me and one more.we were waiting for a while and i wanted to go,whilst he wished to wait,so i left and ran into a few of my old classmates from my 1 semeter batch, after a brief chat i departed.
Conclusion:
i was sleeping and my phone message tone rang i woke up to see the message and it was from my wouldbe roomate:who informed me about us getting a room in a good block. To be honest it was the first good thing that happened on 10/4/2011 aka The Day of Bitter Pills.

Cut back on Emotions,See the bigger picture!!

As title suggests cut back on emotions and see the bigger picture.Right from birth everychild is nurtured with food and also emotions, what is emotions that has so much meant to humans. Many or all say its what makes us humans. But when we look upon great leaders, achievers, martyrs and other people who have carved a niche for themselves have compromised on emotions for a greater and a better cause.Emotional voidness is not what im taking cutback on unnecessary emotions,to see a wider picture, petty emotions guarantee a waste of time or is what i've felt,For example:Grumbling about a small thing leads to sadness and eventually vengeance it changes the course of life and infact may lead to harm. and may eventually bury who you really are.Think and act,be manipulative and swift,Not everything is gold!!Cutback on emotions and see the benefits!!

Twitter for Dummies (and for the rest of us):

Twitter the word has caught quite an attention and spotlight in the past few year's,with the newspaper's writing everyday about the celebrities tweets or updates it only intrigues one to know more and ultimately join and see what all the buzz is all about the What's happening phenomena(TWITTER).This post will give you complete details from the very start to answering aall your questions in detail.Let me go step by step to make it reader-freindly and pro bably earn some followers :D.
1) Simple yet important sign up on twitter by logging on to www.twitter.com
2) Give in your details unless you don't want to dispatch it,select a good username you can always change it later.
2.1) Follow some like-minded people, there are numerous celebrities perhaps the one's you love are there too, follow them if you like, caution don't follow too many people, seriously yu think you can go through all their tweets, keep a limit.
2.2) Timeline or TL is your homepage where the tweets of whom you follow appear.
3) If you have followed the previous two steps.let's get into some facts, terminologies and functions, don't you want to be an know-it-all even when you start?
4) Tweet is a term used for the updates orreplies you make on twitter,as everything has string so does this one too,it is limited to 140 character's only, short and sweet.
4.1) @ replies:usually many ask me what's the fuss about @replies?why does twitter compliate replies cant it be simple like facebook comments?Well on twitter when someine posts a tweet you reply to it by adding a "@" symbol follwed by their username it has to be correct or it will be directed to someone else, this gives us a fair advantage of replying to a specific user easily unlike the complications on facebook where in a threaded conversation one can get confused who is sayin what to who?here to u can @ reply to many by adding @ symbol followed by their username.simple isn't it?
4.2) Retweet or commonly called RT's is a very awesome function on twitter where on can repost a tweet by someone by just a click no copy no paste and no complaints of plagiarism as it mentions the original tweeter too.
4.2.1) There are two kinds of RT's the old editable style and the new style:the old style is where before retweeting you can modify that tweet whilst in the new stly you can't.
**Am i boring you ok here is a fact that was observed and researched for 2 full year's where the results found that most of the twitter users that is 75%+ used twitter on mobile and the rest 25%
only on computers and laptops.**
4.3) Trends is first of its kind popular feature in soial networking sites is on twitter and its a widely appreciated feature very useful and fun!!When something noteworthy happens everyone of us talk about it,similarly when u tweet those or when many people tweet about a common topic it becomes a trend as for example when the superbowl or cricket world cup went when the world was tweeting it it became a trend hence trends change very quickly as topics change very frequently GOD forbid but when an earthquake occurs everyone talks about it becomes a trend,or when a new disney movie comes out it becomes a trend!!Trends bar appear on the side of the twitter page one can actually choose to see what's trending in their country or even now in cities although only a limited set of popularly twitter using countries are included!!
4.4) Follwed by Trends ,i want to say about the eer-intriguing "#"tag or Hashtag, like "@" "#" is another feature of twitter, where an user can add this # before any topic, usually the #tag comes wih a trending topic or trends,so for example take in case of Worldcup2011,when everyone is talking about it people just add a #tag before Worldcup2011--->#Worldcup2011 so when all the users use this hashtag, when an user searches for #Worldcup2011 all tweets tweetd by users which has this #Worldcup2011 comes in a page, hence making an unison of tweets of same topic and makes it easy see the different opinions of different users in a same page.isn't it cool? But this doesnot limit an user to add #tags before trending topics alone,in one's tweet one can addd their names too or anything for that matter, for eample this blog's name antidoze hence #antidoze so all the tweeters tweeting with #antidoze comes in a same page simple :D.
**Twitter has a counter like thing on the top of the profile page or home page of each specific user where it shows the user's no.of tweets(one's replies and retweets are also counted as tweets)it also shows one's no.of followers and the following count**
5) coming to follower's and following count many of my firnds on twitter usually say they are intimidated by the no.of followers many have and they have less, one answer don't care, you are here to express yourself don't care if anyone cares,if there are people who are likeminded and love your tweets they will follow.keep it at bay it should be the least of concerns on twitter.
I think i have fed you with all that i know, and probably bored you, well i want you to know everything.

??Questions??

1) How to tweet?
-The answer is why you care, what yo want to tweet you tweet, but donot tweet like i am going for a bath, i just had panipuri.ok for the first time it may look cute but repeteadly you understand right?
That's why my 4.3 point talks about trends check what's trending in your country, join a conversation, throw some light by giving different opinions, share your point and perhaps prove it.twitter is an easy way to share knowledge and probably engage in some good conversaation which isn't limited to just  closed knit community or a group of your friends your tweet flies accross the globe reacjing billions,be happy your thoughts may be in a computer in India, australia,UK,kenya, argentina or switzerland.

2)How to join a conersation?
-Good question!!when u see a trend search result or maybe on ur TL reply your views, differences, acceptance, rejections perhaps deception hahah.as my point 4.1 says @replies are the best to join in anything and everything,u don't have to follow them or they have to be your friendlike in facebook no crap here, you are a free bird, but if you abuse or do something bad, baddy baddy twitter has given option to block any user by a specific user,so be careful and wise!!

3) How to follow someone?
-when you visit an user's page there is a button to follow them or if they have an protcted account you can send a follow request.

4) when to tweet?
-That depends on your share of knowledge, and your mood no one stops and don't tweet too much in a limited period by too much i mean like a 150 tweet in an hour, twitter has limited an user to 1000 tweets a day and has semi-hourly suspension too.so too much tweeting may not lead to quitting but suspension for an hour or +half!
**On conclusion i just want to say be yourself and don't impersonate someone, everyone likes everyone because they are them, not because one is like this and the other wants to be like that.Wannabe's no no no!!!**

Just out of personal research and interest i will give you a list of twitter clients you can use n laptops, ipads and mobiles.

My Exclusive Review on the New NBC tvshow"OUTSOURCED"

Well as many american's would have seen this tv series outsourced i bet there are eual number of indian's who would have done the same.Outsourced is a new tv series by NBC currently running in its first season is based on sterotyped cliches about indian's.the SitCom carries a simple plot of humiliating indian's in the world tv forum.the story line goes like this:An young american is made  a manager of an outsourced american novelty company located in india,he is the protagonist who stays in india expieriences the indian culture as the Tv series production says.instead it focusses on the bad side of india with character's worth mocking in the indian character plots and the tvseries is based in mumbai i guess it is in a studio,it shows india as poor country with no proper means of transporation but autos and rickshaws. The focus still continues only on street barbers and street foods. This specific tv series has become highly insensitive and inappropriate for viewing which hurts the sentiments of indian's largely.I donot ask for revoking this show but to show the real side of india too.India is not a a country only for street foods and street barbers, whoever is reading you know that right,i though you didn't so i added an extra line to emphasise on it.On Relative  note the famous indian author of the young indian masses Chetan Bhagat had written a book called two states literally a book of mockery  on tamil nadu and its people, yet that went unnoticed.Chetan Bhagat is a racist in disguise.

The DLF-IPL Kngs-Chennai Super Kings.

Chennai super kings or fondly called as "CSK" has been the most consistent team in the Cricket gala called IPL.
With a massive victoriuos track record of being the only only team in this event to enter the semi finals all the three times, and win the trophy once.this team led by the india captain Mahendra singh dhoni poses a heavy threat to all the other 7 then 9 teams now.Power packed with massive hitters like raina, dhoni, hussey, morkel, bailey, vijay and spin wizards murali, ashwin and other superior bowlers bollinger etc this team has come a long way to from the reigns of Lalit modi the Ex chief to this IPL-4 organised by BCCI.The thing that amuses me in CSKis they donot have lead celebrities to cheer them up unlike the other teams, yet only with the power of talented player's and the support of the ever cricket die hard fans of the home crowd chennai.Chennai cricket crowd has been one of the best crowds in the country with the people of tamilnadu supporting the teams with props and love with or beyond their means.the home stadium is M.A.chidambaram or famously known as Chepauk has the capacity to hold 50,000+ spectators listing it in one of the biggest stadiums in india. For the fact CSK has had the highest winning streak against the King's 11 punjab team with 6 wins and has never lost a match against them. This power packed side has also won the champions league T20 where the winner's of different cricketing leagues accross world battle.this is too beyond to be a coincidence when CSK lifted the IPL trophy and the Champions league trophy the sane year 2010.As a fan myslef of this magnonimous team CSK and the die hard fans,i wish this Team another Successful IPL season and win this IPL-4 too in all its glory and talent.

Influence of twitter in my life!‏

Twitter the name itself speaks.
It has become widely popular with it 140 character phenomena, short nd witty updates flying accross the world through internet.
Now it has become the IT phenomena for thinkers and fun loving teenager's alike.
I joined twitter 5 months back it was complicated and boring and to too to top it all none of my friends were here,
and these strong feelings pushed me out of twitter and 3 months later i came to twitter again nd started tweeting.
I read a few blog posts and tutorials on how to use and why to use twitter.
I then realized how much i missed in my life without twitter,
It maybe just 140 character's but it has a big influence,
For example: u tweet a question and there comes answer's form across the world.
It is not a tight-knit community like facebook within ur friend's circle its beyond and awesome
,Nevertheless one can't deny the presence of celebs and this micro-blogging tool to connect with fan's
Join and see for yourself!!
